James Stenger is a Freelance Theatre Artist based out of Vergas, Minnesota. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in the spring of 2013. While at MSU-Moorhead he received his BA in Theatre Arts with emphasis in Acting, Directing, Design, Management, and Technical Theatre.  After graduation in 2013 he worked for Fargo Public Schools as Technical Director and Designer for Fargo North High School and Ben Franklin Middle School until the summer of 2015.  In the fall of 2015 James became the Technical Director at MSU-Moorhead and remained in that role until the fall of 2021. Since then, he has continued his freelance work  with MState in Fergus Falls and longtime mentor Stefanie Gerhardson.  

 

He has freelanced with many companies throughout the Fargo/Moorhead area including: Minnesota State University of Moorhead and the Straw Hat Players, Oak Grove Lutheran High School and Middle School, Musical Theatre Fargo Moorhead, Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre and MState Fergus Falls
